It’s a spell that you learn from a trainer if I remember correctly. You will find DK trainers in the Ebon Hold.

You require a humanoid corpse, or any corpse plus the reagent, corpse dust.

That should do it.

when you get your dk you go to a trainer in ebon hold theyll teach you the ability for like 15 silver i think then you need some ashes you buy the guy that sells them is right next to the guy that teaches it to you you either need that or a nearby corpse friendly or not to summon it…. hey what server does this guy play on???? you should tell meh his server name and characters name me and my guild switch servers all the time to play around and murder alliance and horde

The earlier posters were correct, the trainer in Ebon Hold will teach you how to raise a ghoul which could serve as a minion. But his ghoul is only temporary and will fall apart within two minutes (prompting you to resummon a new one) and it will only blindly attack, you cannot control their actions.

If you allocate your talent points into Unholy, you will eventually get the ability to summon a permanent ghoul who will behave like a standard controllable pet (like a hunter or warlock).
