nelf hunter all the way dood
I’d make a paladin. You will have more choices as to play style then. You could heal, tank or dps. With a warrior, you have less choices…tank or dps.
i would like a Paladin too.
if u need any other about wow, here a website !
A Paladin because you can heal and tank. A Warrior can only tank. No healing abilities. My Draenei is a Shaman. I can heal and have very good DPS.
I have an 80 warrior and 80 Paladin.
If you wanna level quickely and have atad bit of fun at 80 go pally
If you wanna level a tad slower and have a Blast at 80 by far go Warrior. Warrior can be one of the funniest classes to play.
Being a Draenei will give you their racial ability “heroic presence” (1% hit).
You just have to decide on what class you prefer playing: Paladin or Warrior.
For Paladin: You can be a healer (Holy), a dps (Retribution), or a tank (Protection)
-Holy Paladins are great healers of single target healing.
-Retribution Paladins does both physical and spell damages.
-Protection Paladins are know for their area effect tanking; meaning they can effective tank more then one target at a time without the fear of it becoming loose.
For Warriors:You can be a dps (Fury) or a tank (Protection)
-Fury Warriors are known for their ability to do massive physical damage thru the use of being able to hold two two-handed weapons at the same time. This ability is not available to any other duel wielding class.
-Protection Warriors are know for their abilities to be the best main tank for any boss encounters. Warriors have abilities to reflect spells and mitigate damages, not to mention they have a very large HP capability.
So bottom line, it depends on your playing style on which class you want.
pladin ftw.
Paladins are pretty powerful. Warrs just got nerfed.
Im thinking paladin. but you really should just make a Warrior and Paladin, lvl them alil (5-10 lvl) and see wich 1 you like best and stick with that 1.
I currently have both a level 75 Human Warrior (Arms), and a level 30 Human Paladin (Retribution). And in my opinion, the Pally is the more fun to play, especially if you prefer to solo most of the time, as I do! The simple reason is this….Warriors have to use food and potions to heal after battle, but the Pally can be at full strength in almost no time with their healing abilities!
Also…if this is your first character….don’t overlook a Hunter! I started one a few months back, and have had a blast with him! (level 46 Dwarf)
They’re really good for solo gameplay, and the pet doesn’t require as much food as you might think!
Hope this info helps!!
Since you’ve already decided the race you want, I’ll only address the difference in the classes.
1. Play style: Paladins, though they have good melee abilities, are still casters to some extent. You’re dependent on mana and are somewhat vulnerable to silences. However, at the same time you get the healing spells, seals/judgements that do damage and sometimes give you health and mana each time you hit a mob, etc. Paladins have tons of survival abilities to keep them alive through both healing and bubbles and can do decent amounts of damage.
Warriors are pure melee characters. While not dependent on mana, you will have to build up rage to use abilities. Sometimes this isn’t bad, sometimes it can be an annoyance, such as at the beginning of fights. Warriors have a ton of melee ablities, they can use ranged weapons to pull or kill runners (paladins have only a few, 50-ish ranged abilities) and have some survival skills. In Arms or Fury you’ll have lots of damaging abilities from special attacks to things that proc on hit or being hit. In Protection you’ll have more abilities that save your life, or that of others, and use shields.
2. Leveling: Both paladins and warriors are going to level pretty much at a similar pace. Neither gets a run speed boost at 20 like a number of classes. While Paladins get a very cheap mount at 30, that’s not a good reason to roll that character unless you’re quite broke.
3. Groups/Endgame: Because of the recent Death Knight Boom, healing players have become even more desired for groups. If you can heal at 60, you’ll get tons of opportunities to go through dungeons. As a warrior, if you can tank, you’ll get a few opportunities, but not as many as a healer. As dps in either class you’re not going to find nearly as many spots open.
As far as raiding Endgame goes, paladins are very useful because they can fill any role (tank, healer, dps) and have powerful buffs. Warriors can do large amounts of damage or tank. If you can get geared, you’ll probably be able to find an opening for either class.
4. PvP: This is the one subject I can’t say I’m an expert on… pvp has never been my specialty. Both warriors and paladins seem to do relatively well when evenly matched against other players, but in PvP almost everything comes to down to how well you play, and how well you know the class.
To sum up: if you want go do a lot of instances, a paladin might be a better choice. For solo’ing, both are good. My advice is to play both to 20 or so and see if you prefer one over the other. Having alts is never bad– you can play one while the other gets rested XP.
