Blink asked:
In world of warcraft, where should i put my mage talent points?
I have a level 25 mage and have been leveling frost because my friend mage on WoW reccomended it, but i would like to have some other opinions on why should i level Frost, Arcane, or Fire.

well, from what ive heard, arcane is better for dungeons, frost is better for leveling and fire is better for pvp. so its really just personal preference
It depends what you are doing as a mage.
If you want to do a lot of PVP then choose Frost
If you want to grind or make money off grinding then Arcane
And Fire is kind of inbetween the two.
i am playing wow for a long time and i would go like that:
leveling – deep fire, frost
pvp – deep frost (hands down), fire
bosses, dungeons – deep arcane, frost
if you want talent tree models created by other people go to: or
There’s no point in focusing on Arcane until you have enough talent points for the 51-point talent. And even then, Arcane is really mana-hungry, making it impractical for PvE until you have really good level 80 gear. It does have a few nice buffs at lower levels for boosting the other two talents, though. It is the easy mode PvP, though not the best.
Fire is the pure damage spec. It’s not as mana hungry as Arcane, but doesn’t have even as many defensive options as Arcane, which is itself a bit limited. If you can keep a proper eye on your surroundings, this one will be the fastest for leveling, but when things start to go wrong, you are dead. Completely impractical for PvP, it is the main PvE spec when in groups.
Frost is typically the main PvE leveling spec, because of its large selection of defensive options, making you a much more difficult target to kill, particularly if you accidently pull multiple enemies. Also, two Frost mages can AoE grind levels pretty darn efficiently. It is the best PvP spec, but requires a lot of skill and practice to play well.
Hi there.
I have a lvl 80 mage:
if you want to go PvP go frost
if you want to lvl/grind go fire
if you want to do instances/raids ethier go arcane or fire.
but here is what i have been doing if you put 11 in frost till u get cold snap or somethink like that and rest in fire.. then u got ur self a nice pve/dps there… and fire is alot more fun…
