This is me leveling as a combat rogue at 74, no special enchants/gear, just the BoA weapons and shoulders. Spec (As far as i remember it, i did this a long time ago) : www.wowhead.com PS: I’m an herbalist/Alchemist, so i always have some elixirs, potions + Lifeblood, so the downtime is next to none

It worked just fine. But if you have the patience, get the pvp BoA sword aswell and dual wield those, might work out better that well
how did using the BoA dagger in offhand as combat work out? i have dagger now and working on getting sword.. was gonna try to get a quest sword or something but if it works decently with dagger in offhand i wont worry about replacing it
They are special to me because they can used from lvl 1-80.. and it gives u better lvling speed..
For leveling? Smash sinister strike until bored, then hit Eviscerate once :p
what are your rotations?
3 BoA items, and it’s as good as rare items from it’s level. If that’s “special” to you, then sorry

hey i am just starting a rogue and is it stil a need to have dagger in main hand for backstap and ambush or can you use it while you get it in offhand?

First of all, thanks for a polite and well written comment! And i don’t really like to use stealth for leveling, in my opinion it just slows you down, of course there are “sneaking missions” as in quests where you have to just pick up an item, there stealth works fine, but for fighting with the Combat spec, don’t do it. :p
I’ve noticed while you were doing this, you never used stealth or anything. Is that because you didn’t want to or because it becomes useless while combat specced. If you could provide some answers for this that would be great. Thank you for your time.
Racial aren’t that important. Simply put, pick the one whos looks you like. UD’s look really nice, but to be honest about 80% of the hordes are UDs, so picking one isn’t exactly “original”, but there are barely any BE’s, but there’s a reason for that, they look GAY. If i could go back and choose another race, for horde, i’d pick a Troll, they look bitching at 80. For alliance, i’d prolly go with humans, i just like their animations
. The point is, go with the one you like
